Extreme Sports For The Austin Thrillseeker

If you’re looking for a blood-pumping vacation, Austin is the city for you. The city offers an abundance of rivers, lakes and mountains that are perfect spots for all extreme-sport enthusiasts.

Lady Bird Lake

Lady Bird Lake is one of Austin’s most scenic locations. While it can offer a serene refuge of relaxation, others find it to be the perfect spot for water sports that will get your adrenaline pumping. Paddling boats can be rented at daily or hourly rates. Use of safety equipment and proper procedures are required.

Urban Axes

Urban Axes is an organization like no other. The venue features opportunities for axe-throwing–a bit like Extreme Yard Darts. Short lessons and safety regulations are provided to guests prior to participating.
